As a young boy in Taleghan, a beautiful province of Iran, Behzad spent many summer nights on the hillside under star-filled skies playing his guitar and dreaming of where his music might take him. He continued his musical journey with formal training in classical flamenco guitar. In the 90s Behzad moved to England where he intrigued listeners with his unique melding of Middle Eastern melodies and Spanish guitar. With his debut album Gypsy Renaissance, he has captivated fans worldwide.
