The title of the fifth studio release from this proudly independent singer- songwriter is indeed true of Eric"s life and music - he has put 180,000 miles on his van in the past couple of years and he travels through musical genres as well. This disc ranges from the rocking "Hard Clean" (with its in- your-face lyrics - "don"t kiss my ass to get my pants undone") to his electric pop take on impatience, "I Don"t Wait Well" to the emotional, stripped down sound on "A New Life," a song to Katrina victims fueled by his own loss in 1992"s Hurricane Andrew. Great acoustic guitar and rich vocals make this an amazing CD.
