Selections from a two-concert series presented on St. Andrews Day in the impressive Capitol Center for the Arts comprise this album, which also features The Lowland Band of the Scottish Division along with the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, Dalriada Dance and baritone Peter Morrison. The Lowland Band is a military band consisting of about 30 brass and woodwinds accompanied by percussion, electric bass, guitar and keyboards. In keeping with all bands in the British Army, the versatility of the musicians represents one of the band"s greatest assets.
