The fifth and most ambitious album from Austin, Texas-based songwriter Beaver Nelson contains 13 new songs produced by Beaver with guitarist Scrappy Jud Newcomb (The Resentments, Toni Price, Ian Maclagan). It features his stellar band (Newcomb on guitar, Josh Gravelin on bass, Stephen Belans on drums) plus guest appearances by Eliza Gilkyson, Kevin Russell (The Gourds), Jeff Johnston (Li"l Cap"n Travis) and Matt Hubbard. Once touted as a "teenage songwriting prodigy" by Rolling Stone magazine, Nelson has matured into one of Texas" most respected young songwriters. Beaver co-wrote a song that appeared on Austin roots band Reckless Kelly"s recent Sugar Hill Records release.
