"Powers Of Ten" became an extraordinary event for Warner Brothers record when they signed former Black Oak Arkansas guitarist Shawn Lane. Here was a masterpiece, a contemporary of Eric Johnson, Steve Vai and other solo guitarists. Lane had recorded the whole album at home over the course of two years and the label helped him assemble a touring band to promote the album. The recordings of this tour didn"t see the light of disc until almost a decade after it"s last date. The concert is preserved on this disc and now serves as a living memorial to one of the most talented guitarists the U.S. has ever produced.
