Mepilex(R) Border Post-Op is a self-adherent soft silicone bordered foam dressing specifically designed for surgical incisions. Mepilex Border Post-Op does not adhere to moist wound beds but adheres gently to dry tissue. It consists of four layers: A soft silicone wound-contact layer (Safetac(R)); a flexible absorbent pad of polyurethane foam; an outer film which is vapor permeable, moisture proof and bacteria proof; and a semi-transparent adherent border.
