This powerhouse big band was comprised of many of the players from the great Ted Heath Orchestra, and this fact allied with Gregory"s brilliant arrangements made the Chaquito Big Band a force to be reckoned with. Both "Spies and Dolls" and "TV Thrillers" feature the very best in late 1960s and early "70s film and TV music, represented by composers of the calibre of Quincy Jones, Lalo Schifrin, Isaac Hayes, Wally Stott and Dave Grusin. John Gregory creates stunning, electrifying versions of famous themes such as Mission Impossible, The French Connection, They Call Me Mister Tibbs, The Anderson Tapes, Hawaii 5-0 and A Man Called Ironside, all of which contain plenty of solo space for the virtuoso skills of the Chaquito band personnel.
