Originally released in November 2000, De Lumiere Et D"obscurite is Dark Sanctuary"s second full-length album. Dark Sanctuary"s compositions are best described as dark atmospheric, ambient/neo-classical music and are often compared to the classic band Dead Can Dance, the band even featuring on a tribute compilation to said act called "Summoning of the Muse - A Tribute to Dead Can Dance".
