When Dream & Day Unite incorporated musical ideas from their predecessors like Yes, Genesis, Queensryche, Rush and the like and forged their own distinctive imprint. Players John Petrucci on guitar and drummer Mike Portnoy and bassist John Myung were joined by Charles Domenici on vocals.
