The 46 tracks here are the first recordings made by folk singer Sam Hinton at the Library of Congress in 1947; two of the songs were issued as part of the Anglo-Celtic series, then the four 16-inch aluminum transcription discs were placed in the vaults. . . now they are once again seeing the light of day.
