Since then, their business has grown to employ over 100 female artisans who handcraft items made from felt. Executive managers for the organization, Shanti and Nirjala are champions for these women, helping them to improve their standard of living and to better themselves financially. Friends Handicrafts is part of the Empowering Women Together program at Walmart.com.
