Sub frequency levels live between 30Hz and 150Hz. The Sub1822 has a frequency response of 30Hz to 300Hz, going well above the needed range…which will also give you additional options while setting up your room! If you are a DJ and are looking for that extra “umph” in your music or you are setting up a venue or club setting and are lacking that thick cloud of low end sound, you need a sub-woofer! Pushing out a total power of 2000 watts the Sub1822 has enough power to properly translate your low frequency audio to virtually any room or venue! This sturdy and long lasting piece of gear is built with an 18" Aluminum frame, 3" voice coil, and huge 90 oz. magnet. The size of the speaker is 22"w x 27"h x 24"d. The outside design is a plain black design that can easily be placed in the shadows or out of sight from your audience. Low frequency audio travels in all directions. Scientifically, this means that you can place the sub woofer on any place on the ground in your venue and achieve the same overall bass sound throughout your entire room! This unit was built with two easy to grip carrying handles making it very easy to move and position on the ground or mount it on a pole using the single pole mount built into its design! The Sub1822 has a built in crossover function set at 150Hz with an additional low pass output. Crossovers split the audio signal into separate frequency bands that can be separately routed to loudspeakers optimized for those bands. The Sub1822 will take frequencies at and below 150Hz and translate them perfectly. If you are a sound designer or are setting up your studio or venue and wish to achieve the exact frequency response you need for your room, adjusting and focusing your frequencies is must do! The additional low pass filter can be engaged to control the exact frequency output to another speaker. If you want more bass, engage the low pass filter! It will do just that, let the lows pass through!
