The Light Emitting Designs Dimmable Wide-Beam Bulb is a fully encapsulated, 120 Volt, 10 Watt, screw-in bulb that features medium base mounting and integrates energy saving LED technology into a standard R30/65BR30/PAR30 format. The lamp is designed to retrofit existing R30/65BR30/PAR30 installations, thereby reducing maintenance and energy expenditures. It is also used as an energy saving light source for new fixtures and installations. LED lamps save energy by consuming much less power. They also run much cooler than most lamps, thereby saving on cooling costs, and reducing spoilage due to heat in cold storage and retail displays. There are no harmful gasses or mercury in LED lamps, like there are in fluorescent and compact fluorescent lamps.
