Klaus Huber occupies a thoroughly singular place in contemporary musical creation. Far removed from trends and fashions, the composer cuts a path that leads him to probe the `ethical" dimension of music. His oeuvre reveals a terribly human musician, full of compassion for his fellow man, and this is magnificently attested to by the interpretations that Alexis Descharmes gives us here.
