Ten tracks taken from LNV"s early days and transformed by the (then relatively obscure) likes of Fat Boy Slim and Massive Attack. It comes as no surprise to hear that in France LNV are not considered as a "traditional" group but pick up plaudits as, amongst other things, a leading dance band. In truth LNV hit all the marks set up by their marketing, as a kind of French Pogues, but with this album, especially in tracks like Face A la Mer and Sous le Soleil de Bodega (here remixed by Massive Attack), demonstrate just how well they fit into the epoch electronique.
