Traditional Chisel Set with Beech Wood Handles (1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, 7/8 inch & 1 inch) re-enforced at the bolster with a brass ferrule to prevent splitting. Handles are turned and finished to ensure maximum comfort, and grip during use. Designed primarily for hand use, they may also be used with a mallet. Blades are heat treated to within 1 inch of the bolster to maintain a beautiful edge, and ensure a long bench life. Blades are fully machined on all faces and are finish honed to 30 degrees, making them ready for use immediately. Each chisel comes complete with a plastic tip guard to protect both, the blade and user.
