The cores are synthetic yarn-wrapped, which allows the weight of the core to dictate the level of articulation. The DFP730 is a medium-articulation mallet, with the ideal balance of tone and attack. The DFP series was designed by WGI Hall of Fame educator Dan Fyffe, specifically for student use in the classroom. The marimba mallets are yarn wrapped with birch handles and feature five different models based on articulation.
