The 7W A19 LED Lamp is designed to retrofit existing incandescent and/or CFL installations, thereby reducing maintenance and energy expenditures. It is also used as an energy saving light source for new fixtures and installations. It is a fully encapsulated, 120 Volt, 8 Watt lamp with E26 medium base mounting that integrates energy saving LED technology into a standard A19 or CFL format. LED lamps save energy by consuming much less power. They also run much cooler than most lamps, thereby saving on cooling costs, and reducing spoilage due to heat in cold storage and retail displays. There are no harmful gasses or mercury in LED lamps, like there are in fluorescent and compact fluorescent lamps. Up to 50,000 hour lamp life means cost savings on lamp replacement and fixture maintenance. Because of longer life, less impact on landfills and other environmental factors due to disposal.
