Schecter Guitar Research Damien Elite-4 Left-Handed Electric Bass Guitar Crimson Red
Price 679.00 - 692.56 USD
Schecter"s Damien Elite-4 left-handed electric bass guitar is a solid piece of quality craftsmanship with an awesome array of unbelievable electronics and amazing woods. Compared to basses with the same features, the Damien Elite-4 can"t be beaten for price. It"s got the custom shop looks and sound without that inflated custom shop price. The Damien Elite-4 comes equipped with pro pickups and EQ from EMG. The EMG active B64 E/Q was designed for contouring bass, mid and treble frequencies of bass guitar. It has a tighter filter bandwidth giving a more pronounced effect from each control. The mid-cut of the B64 is perfect for funk with its mid-range centered at a lower frequency. Both Bass and Treble controls on the B64 are more selective and dont creep into the mid-range. The EMG MMHZ is a direct replacement for the original Music Man bass pickup. This pickup is passive (without internal pre-amp) and features a dual-coil design for low noise and plenty of output. The MMHZ housing is directly compatible with EMG"s entire active MM pickup line. All feature the CS design (ceramic and steel). The CS design has the punch and fullness of the older passive designs along with added brightness for a better-defined tone. The Damien Elite-4 has got a smooth maple neck perfect for playability and sturdiness. Maple has a uniform grain, its strong and stable, and it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. Its tone is highly reflective, and focuses more energy onto the body wood. Maple transfers a bright tone to the body that complements the warm tones of a mahogany body. Rosewood is naturally oily and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact, which is why it"s the most commonly used wood for fingerboards. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores. Schecter"s high quality bass tuners feature a classic design in a lubricated and sealed housing to protect gears for a lifetime of maintenance free playability. Details include a 15:1 gear ratio for smooth and precise tuning, removable knobs, threaded hex peghead bushing, and a 10mm diameter peg hole.Mahogany body w/quilted maple Maple neck Rosewood fingerboard with 24X jumbo frets Abalone gothic cross inlays w/stained cross at 12th fret Black multi-ply bindings Schecter tuners EMG MMHZ pickups Master Vol/Blend/EMG active B64 3-band EQ Schecter custom string-thru body or top load bridge 34" scale Black chrome hardware
