1-48 Scale. Ferruccio Vosilla, nicknamed "the gunslinger" due to his habit of carrying a pearl-butted gun in-flight, began his career during the Spanish Civil War as Captain in command of an autonomous ground attack squadron, and afterwards became commander of the 18th Fighter Group which was armed with CR.32 fighters. From November 1940, the unit, re-equipped with the CR.42, operated on the front line with France, and afterwards Vosilla participated in the Battle of Britain with the Italian Air Corps. From January 1941, he commanded the unit in North Africa where he obtained three confirmed victories, plus four probable ones and carried out numerous attacks against British aircraft with the CR.42 which was equipped with underwing bomb racks. In the spring of 1942 he gave up command of that unit to take on the job of colonel of the 50th Assault Squadron.
