Deep red in color. The bouquet reveals inviting floral notes, followed by fruity scents of ripe plum and small red and black berry fruit. The two-year aging period in oak adds an elegant spicy sensation to the bouquet with hints of leather, hazelnut and nutmeg. On the palate, the Lodola Nuova is medium-bodied and well-balanced. It features a ripe, fruiy core, sustained by smooth tannins, balanced acidity and a long, charming aftertaste of cherries, strawberries and coffee.
