Mc Chouffe is strong brown ale. A dark, earthy-hued and spicy strong ale, Mc Chouffe uses Pilsner malts and English Golding and Saaz hops. The appearance is deep brown and the aroma is fruity and zesty. This is a full-bodied beer with hints of fruit, spice, plums and raisins. It has a complex and lingering finish with a lush and smooth mouth feel. At 8% it is substantially strong, but so well balanced and smooth that drinking it can be deceptive.
