This wine is from France, Burgundy region, Beaujolais sub-region and Brouilly appellation. BROUILLY is the largest of the Crus. It is named after an inactive volcano, the Mont de Brouilly, that its extensive vineyards surround. The soil, quite typically, is a composition of several types of granite.
