Gamblin FastMatte Alkyd Oil Colors dry to the touch in approximately 24 hours, much quicker than traditional oils. Because the dry time is much quicker artists can paint for longer without having to stop and wait for paint to dry. The alkyd colors dry to a consistently matte finish which creates a deep, soft luster. This dry, matte surface has a subtle tooth which almost grabs paint from the brush.
