The 2009 can be enjoyed now, but readers who seek tertiary nuance will want to cellar this for a few years. The Rosso is 70 Sangiovese, 15 Sagrantino and 15 Merlot. Anticipated maturity 2013-2019.Rich ruby red, brilliant. Sensationally intense, with notes of ripe red fruit and delicate hints of vanilla. Full bodied, rich, dry with a long finish. Best served with red and white meats, cold cuts and matured cheeses.
