Woodstock Chimes Awakening Bell For Meditation, 26-1/4-Inch by 8-1/2-Inch
Price 70.38 - 89.99 USD
Designed for sound healing and relaxation, the Woodstock Awakening Metallophone was developed by jazz great Jack DeJohnette and sound therapist Dr. John Beaulieu, along with musician and Woodstock Chimes founder Garry Kvistad. When the Awakening Bell is sounded, the long overtones of the bell naturally puts the listener into a Theta state, which is a relaxed state characterized by deep calm. The tone of the Awakening Bell resonates with an area of the brain that helps control stress. Through this resonance we experience a lightness and sense of well being. The Awakening Bell can be played two ways. Tap it and listen to the overtones, or rub it (Tibetan Singing Bowl style) and make it sing. The Awakening Bells comes with an instruction booklet that includes background information on the bell and explains how to play the bell (both styles of playing). Though every part of this product is weather-protected, we recommend a few simple maintenance tips to keep it looking its best for years to come. Simply apply a thin layer of Danish or lemon oil to hardwood parts periodically. Regular application of oil will slow down the natural aging process of wood. And while the anodized aluminum will not rust when exposed to the elements, mild soap and water will help prevent pitting. * Designed to enhance stress control * Weather-protected * Rust-free anodized aluminum construction * Tap or rub to listen * Includes instruction booklet
