When parents bring their new infant home from the hospital, they want to ensure the safest sleeping environment for them. The Babysense movement monitor is a unique safety monitoring system that will increase a parent’s sense of comfort and allow them to sleep and rest better knowing that their baby is being constantly monitored. Two sensor pads are placed under the crib mattress and will cover the whole crib. For young infants, one pad can be used in a bassinet and one in a crib or travel crib. Simply move the monitor and plug in the pad. When the pads are placed under the infant’s mattress all movement is constantly monitored. If no movement is detected for 20 seconds, or if the monitor detects less than 10 micro-movements per minute, the alarm will sound alerting the parent or caregiver to come to the aid of the baby.An auditory and visual (red light) alarms if your baby’s movement stops or becomes irregularly slow and the units emit no radiation of any kind. Completely portable with a simple one button activation and operates on 4 AA batteries (not included).Unlike other baby monitors, the Babysense monitor does not automatically reset if a non-movement episode is followed by a movement episode. Recovery of movement will not stop the alarm. The caregiver must physically turn the alarm off, thereby ensuring that the caregiver responds to every non-movement episode.
