The 100,000-cycle life thermostat is very accurate and adjusts from 30-100 degrees Fahrenheit. Because it only runs when needed, this thermostatically controlled heater will help save money compared to heaters that run continually. Once the pre-set temperature has been reached, it will turn off and on to keep your pet warm and dry. This outstanding pet house furnace is equipped with several precautionary features to ensure the safety of your pet and the dog house. A top heat shield disperses heat efficiently and protects the ceiling from excessive heat exposure The internal heat shield allows your pet to lean or lie directly against the lower half of the unit without danger of getting burned. (Please follow safe installation instructions.) The rounded exterior of the heater has no sharp edges, which will keep your pet safe from bumps or cuts. The Hound Heater Dog House Furnace was designed so the electrical cord is not accessible to your pet. Feed the cord through a drilled hole during installation and plug it into a GFI outlet outside of the house. That way, your pet has no access to the cord while inside the dog house. No assembly is required. Simply mount the heather on a pet house wall using the pre-drilled screw holes that line the sides. Once it"s mounted, plug it in, set the thermostat, and let the heater surround your pet with comfortable heat. Please note: The Hound Heater must never be mounted on the ceiling.
