Probe all of the mysteries of the globe. Frank Lloyd Wright (1867 - 1959) is widely considered to be America"s greatest architect. He amazed the world with his architectural ingenuity and designs. His vision encompassed the buildings and residences he designed, as well as their landscaping, art glass, furniture, lighting and floor covering, to create a unified whole. In 1954, Frank Lloyd Wright began work on the pyramidal shaped Beth Sholom Synagogue in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, now a registered National Historic Landmark and open to the general public. This tabletop globe and stand was adapted from one of Wright"s designs for a hexagonal walnut and copper planter in the building. Requires 4 AA batteries (Included).
