Rotary Cutter cuts fabric, paper, leather, vinyl, matboard, and even foam core in any direction. Blade is only exposed when pressure is applied to rotary cut. The safety guard slides back when pressure is applied and slides back into place when cutter is lifted from cutting surface. No button to engage it is all done automatically.
