1/48 Scale. Prototype Information: Ryan PT-20 Primary Trainer The PT-20 first flew in June of 1934 and was quickly adopted as one of the US military"s primary pilot training aircraft. It"s design was typical of the 1930"s, called the Golden Age of aviation, with its open, tandem cockpit and wheel spats. Along with its contemporary, the Stearman, the PT-20 served throughout WWII and trained many of the pilots who served in that war. Features 37 parts molded in light grey and clear with raised panel lines, Optional landing gear: floats or wheels - a simulated water display base is included for use with the float version, Cockpit detail: 2 pilot figures and clear windshields,Propellor and wheels can be made to rotate.
