This is the FASST 2.4GHz Futaba 12ZHP Computer Radio on [1]Mode 2[IMAGE] with the R6014HS Synthesized 14-Channel Receiver. Does not include servos. This is the helicopter version which will default to heli settings when powered up. If your transmitter"s region code is something other than the United States, the TM-14 Module sold in the United States is not compatible with this transmitter. As such, it is necessary to purchase the TM-14 module which matches the region code of the transmitter. The Futaba 12ZHP shares many features with the 14MZ such as Dual Internal Processors, Real-Time Response with 2048PCM, Fully Synthesized Receiver, Servo Grouping, Variable Dual Rates and Quad-Bearing Gimbals **** While you can obtain a 50MHz module for this radio, it can only be **** ******* purchased through the service center at 217-398-8970 opt 2 ******* FASST FEATURES: Futaba"s FASST (Futaba Advanced Spread Spectrum Technology) shifts very quickly virtually eliminating signal conficts and interruptions unlike other 2.4GHz systems that only stay on one or two frequencies Dual antenna diversity enables FASST system to automatically and seamlessly select the best reception between the two antennas built into the receiver ensuring that the aircraft stays under constant control of transmitter regardless of altitude Pre-Vision Packet Screening technology scans incoming data for potential problems and applies sophisticated error correction techniques for solid impenetrable link with model Easy Link system features a unique ID code in the transmitter that links to the receiver insuring that receiver only follows commands from this transmitter-with over 134 million possible codes there is no chance for a conflict No hassle Fail Safe programmed through transmitter-no complicated set-up steps or binding plugs When performing a ground check, the Power Down function allows modeler to reduce power from up to 50+ paces away-like retracting the antenna on a conventional transmitter Purpose built custom IC chips for key functions; no off-the-shelf IC chips GENERAL FEATURES: Dial-N-Key jog dial with joy stick button allows cursor movement in four directions for very user friendly programming 2048 resolution is "backwards compatible" with 1024 PCM, and FM/PPM Supports 13 different wing types, 3 tail types and 3 motor types Supports eight flight conditions (seven plus the default) Stores memory for up to twenty-five models 245 model memory available with optional 32MB Compact Flash Card Six factory-set Variable Dual Rate (VDR) curves can be assigned to any function in any flight condition configuration Variable Dual Rates (VDR) and Expo can be combined so they are automatically activated when a function is activated, no program mixing required 245 model memory available-requires optional 128MB Compact Flash Card (FUTM9411) Dual Internal Processors allow one processor to be devoted to flying functions while the other processor focuses on non-flight functions such as input and communications 7.4V 2200mAh Lithium Ion transmitter battery (FUTM1475) for long operating times R6014HS Receiver; High Speed Selection for Digital servos Retains 2048 resolution and Futaba Real Time Response from the 72MHz version. Simple one-touch binding - no plugs to mess with or lose A full range system for all aircraft from giant scale to Park Flyer applications-no need to buy separate receiver for specific aircraft Dual Antenna Diversity allows 2.4GHz FASST Futaba transmitter to select the best reception between the two receiver antennas with no signal loss Rubber grommets installed where antennas exit to eliminate stress and fraying of the two antenna wires Servo Grouping; Multiple servos controlling a single function can be set up through the transmitter and then plugged into differently adjustable receiver channels (even non-consecutively) without needing a separate servo synchronizer for mixing. Quad-Bearing Gimbals for smoothest motion and response, stick tension and detent are adjustable Seven color LED indicator INCLUDES: 12ZHP Synthesized Transmitter (not available separately) FASST TM-14 Module (FUTL8934) R6014HS Receiver (FUTL7645) FLT2F2200 7.4V 2200mAh Lithium Ion Transmitter Battery (FUTM1475) 100 - 240V AC LBC-1D5 Lithium Ion Transmitter Battery Charger (FUTM1700), only includes 120V AC United States Standard Input Plug DSC Cable (FUTM4243) Switch Harness with Charge Cord (FUTM4387) Padded Aluminum Case with two Keys (not available separately) Woven Orange Neck Strap (FUTM5693) One each 1.5mm and 2.5mm Hex Wrenches Instruction Manual REQUIRES: Charging batteries before use Servos of modeler"s choice, suggested servos for use with the 12Z include the Futaba S9154 Digital High Speed Servo (FUTM0214) and the Futaba S9255 Hi-Torque Heli Digital Servo (FUTM0225) 4.8V receiver battery of modeler"s choice and charger SPECS: Transmitter; Operating System: 2-stick, 12 channels, synthesizer system Power Supply: 7.4V FLT2F2200 Li-Ion Battery Modulation: PCM2048, PCM1024 or FM/PPM switchable Current Drain: 500mA average R6014FS Receiver; Two operation modes; Normal, frame rate of 14ms accepts any type of servos and High Speed with a frame rate of 7ms for digital servos including the Futaba BLS servos High Speed on channels 1 through 6. COMMENTS: This system can also be operated on 72MHz or 50MHz by purchasing the Transmitter Antenna (FUTM5110), and the 72MHz Module (#HSP78899) or the 50MHz Module (#HSP79189)-both must be purchased through Hobby Services and using a compatible receiver. jxs 1/25/08 ir/jxs updated 12/18/09kzh 1. #
