Kentucky native, Tom T. Hall is one of Nashville"s most prolific songwriters with eleven number one hits and two dozen more in the top ten. Johnny Cash, George Jones, Loretta Lynn and Alan Jackson have all recorded his songs. Notably, Jeannie C. Riley, whose rendition of "Harper Valley P.T.A." earned Hall his first Grammy Award in 1968. Tom T. Hall followed that success with a string of his own hit recordings.
