Grupo Solido comprised of three brothers and three family friends was formed in Rio Grande City Texas. Since signing with Freddie Records (owned and run by five time Grammy winning artist and producer Freddie Martinez) Solido has recorded five records earning them a Latin Grammy in 2001 for Nadie Como Tu followed by a Latin Grammy nomination in 2003 for Vuelve.
