Follow South African shark expert Craig Ferreira as he takes his young family on the adventure of a lifetime diving into notoriously shark-infested waters. Craigs wife Jytte, dad Theo, and three young sons, Storm, Cruise, and Wilder, head out across the coastal waters off their native South Africa into Shark Alley. The six set up camp on Dyer Island to prepare for their face-to-face encounters with the worlds most dangerous and endangered apex predator. Craigs specially built child-sized diving cage keeps the three boys safe when the Great Whites leave the bait behind to take a close-up look at the young divers. In fact, at seven years old, Wilder Ferreira becomes the worlds youngest shark cage diver. Theo Ferreira has his own challenge to face. Once a crusading shark hunter with more than 20 kills, Theo had a mid-career epiphany and switched sides. Now a shark conservationist, Theos respect for the animals never displaced his fear of them. He must choose to overcome his fear and meet his former prey in the water or leave the team and go home.
