Japanese occupation of China breeds an ill wind which stirs the wrath of China"s greatest kung fu killers... A clash of cultures or the rage of the oppressed may well describe this film, which is set during the Japanese occupation of a small fishing village in China during the Second World War. Kung fu superstar Chen Hsing plays the role of a master boxer who has forsaken the ring after accidentally killing his best friend. Returning to his homeland with a Eurasian wife, the boxer is stunned by the fierce atrocities his people are subjected to by the Japanese commandant (played by Kurata). He manages to remain cool and controlled until the invaders kill an innocent young mute and capture his wife. Exploding in a rage, the boxer literally sweeps the entire Japanese community under the ground, leaving a spectacular duel to the death with the commandant for last. They have a tough fight on the sand as the waves of the sea crash anew with every powerful blow.
