This DVD enscapsulates Peripheral Produces 10 year history and features work from some of today"s brightest stars of underground cinema, including "Me and You and Everyone We Know" director Miranda July and Academy Award-nominated Sam Green (director of "The Weather Underground"). Many of these films made their world premier"s at Peripheral Produce events or are available on Peripheral Produce videos, and their cumulative sum equal the essence of what Peripheral Produce is and hopes to be. Peripheral Produce started as a screening series in Portland, Oregon in 1996, and soon after added a videotape distribution wing. Ten years and a whole lot of videotape later, Peripheral Produce is still at it, having released 14 video releases and representing over 25 different artists.
