This DVD was made during a show created by Luis de la Carrasca, with artists from the Gypsy, Spanish, and Andalusian communities: firmly anchored in the present, while drawing inspiration from tradition. With moving sincerity, the artists express joy and sorrow through song and poetry, and we find ourselves at the heart of flamenco music. Luis de la Carrasca became interested in flamenco at a very early age. He presented his first show at the Avignon Festival in 1991, after which he formed his own company, Flamenca Vivo. In 2002, with the Alhambra Andalusian Association, he founded the Andalusian Festival in Avignon.
