The Weeping Women is an adaptation of the traditional Hispanic legend of "La Llorona". The film revolves around the story of three generations of women, within a Mexican family, who are eternally cursed. The legend tells that all male sons within the family are destined to die at a young age, leaving the women forever grieving.
