As former clinical services director of University of Michigan Integrative Medicine, she built an Integrative Medicine Clinic, created Comfort TV programing for hospital patients, began a fellowship to train physicians in Integrative Medicine, and wrote national policies used by academic health centers to incorporate integrative therapies such as acupuncture, massage, and energy medicine. And, as a former Medical Director of the University of Maryland Center for Integrative Medicine, she was a mentor for hundreds of healthcare professionals seeking an integrative approach.
