This one-hour documentary takes a probing look at a community in Northern Alabama known as "Meth Mountain." The region earned its disturbing nickname because methamphetamine the highly addictive and sometimes deadly drug has hijacked the lives of astaggering number of people there. Other communities have been able to reduce their meth problems but the so-called Meth Mountain area has not. The program will zero in on how meth has taken hold of the region and on some of the people who are determined to see their community lose its troubling reputation and nickname.
