Conductor Heinz Wallberg leads the Vienna Symphonic Orchestra in a 1984 concert featuring guest appearances by tenor Nicolai Gedda, soprano Tamara Lund, and pianist Hans Graf. Together, the orchestra and three soloists perform a wide range of classical music that includes Lehar"s operetta songs "Friends, Life is Worth Living" and "One Will Come;" Schubert"s overture from ROSAMUNDE; Chopin"s variation on "Reach Me Your Hand, My Life" from Mozart"s DON GIOVANNI; Richard Strauss" series of waltzes from THE KNIGHT OF ROSES; Johann Strauss" last completed waltz "Embrace Each Other, Madding Crowd;" and Ziehrer"s waltz "Come and See."
