Black comedy lampoons modern Japanese home life. Shigeyuki is a teenager who is doing poorly in school, just as he should be preparing for his college entrance exams. His father, a typical driven salaryman, is angry that Shigeyuki does not perform as well as his older brother. Father hires a tutor to help the teen.The presence of the tutor in the home changes everything. Voted the best film of 1983 by Japanese critics.
