El detective Peter Pérez investiga un crimen en el cual Luís, hermano del muerto, y su madrastra Esperanza son los principales sospechosos. Luís es asesinado y Esperanza le pide a Peter que acompañe a su hija Alicia en un viaje que tiene que hacer de la provincia a la capital. En el tren tratan de asesinar a Alicia y Peter empieza a sospechar del abogado de la familia y de su amante quien es también la enfermera de la familia. Estos dos están tratando de acabar con toda la familia para poder quedarse con su cuantiosa fortuna. Detective Peter Pérez investigates a murder where Luis, brother of the victim, and his stepmother Esperanza are the prime suspects. Luis is also murdered and Esperanza asks Peter to accompany her daughter Alicia on a trip to Mexico City. During the trip, there is an attempt on Alicia’s life and Peter begins to suspect the family lawyer and his lover, who is also the family nurse. These two are trying to finish off the entire family and keep their enormous wealth.
