The book of Leviticus is set in and around the tent-like structure known as the tabernacle, described in detail in the book of Exodus. Leviticus takes us down into the theological engine of the Scriptures to show us how and why the work of the Messiah is what it is. As the work of the ancient Levites is explained, so the prophesied work of the Great and Divine High Priest is being explained.
