Although he came to prominence when most young trumpet players tended to be brash and extroverted, like his contemporary Miles Davis, Art Farmer developed a style that is lyrical, wistful and highly personal. He also gives an inside look at his life and music as he reflects back on his years in both Europe and the United States.
