From the get-go, Joey established his credentials with virtuoso technique and an innate soulfulness. Throughout his early career, he was recognized as spearheading a renewed interested in the B-3 organ, and building a bridge from the instrument"s golden period of the 1960s to the modern usage that it enjoys today.
