In the early 1970"s the legendary Link Wray made a critical comeback with the much vaunted "Link Wray" album on the then recently launched US Polydor Label. Recorded in a shack in the middle of a Maryland wood the primitive sound stood out amongst the "High Tech" recording being released at that time. altogether three albums were recorded in this way including "Beans & Fatback" (Released on the then new Virgin label in the UK) and the only known album by "Mordicai Jones" a mysterious figure who takes lead vocal on an album which is a Link Wray album in all but name.
