For self-study or class use: "Geschäftskommunikation", comprising "Schreiben und Telefonieren" and "Verhandlungssprache", is designed to provide intermediate students with the communication skills needed to succeed in the German business world. In "Verhandlungssprache" the emphasis is on improving students" oral skills. Seven units deal with a variety of oral situations, including negotiating, complaining and presenting information. Each unit begins by introducing relvant expressions and grammatical structures, which are then actively tested by a series of varied and progressive exercises. Further exercises and a grammar summary can be found in the appendix. The book is accompanied by a cassette containing listening texts, model dialogues and expressions. The book and cassette can be purchased separately or in a package.
