This is the first publication of chronicles (daily notes) kept by monasteries, churches and chapels of the Ryazan eparchy in 1676. These ledgers were prepared for publishing, commented and provided with other academic description by A.I. Tsepkov. These notes are a valuable source on the history and socio-economic development of this territory, as well as on the relations between the religious and secular lives in the seventeenth century.
